Capturing Stories, Creating Change

Plamenova Films is a film production company founded by Viktoria Petrova, a London-based filmmaker and actor of Bulgarian and Spanish heritage. With a deep commitment to socially driven storytelling, Viktoria brings a cinematic language that is both emotionally grounded and visually arresting.
Plamenova, her second name, derives from the Bulgarian word “plamen”, meaning “flame”, a symbol of her artistic mission: to spark thought, ignite emotion, and shine light on stories that often go unseen.
Her creative work includes After the Ashes, a haunting and poetic short film exploring trauma, survival, and transformation, and a documentary currently in production in Spain, chronicling the journeys of Ukrainian refugees and the powerful acts of compassion by the Marbella firefighters and the Hermandad de la Soledad.
Through Plamenova Films, she is committed to producing cinematic works that spark dialogue, challenge perspectives, and stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
